You are in Paris, for business, for holidays or for your studies, the "Tournelles Great Synagogue of Marais District" will be happy to welcome you to spend a Shabat or unforgettable Holidays.
Located ideally in the heart of the historical Marais district, the synagogue has all the architectural features of a large synagogue but retains a family organization even if the services are solemnly celebrated according to the Cantorial art and the Sephardic « Constantine » rite.
We can organize pre-arranged meals for visiting groups of tourists. For that, we would please ask you to inform us in advance by contacting Mrs Annie GOETA, Administrator, via the following email: contact@synatournelles.fr

Access

Identities will be controlled by our security department.

In order to facilitate your arrival, please bring your identity papers : passport or id. Please present yourself to the security and a member of the administrative commission who will welcome you.
Our Shamashim will put at your disposal prayer books and talit.
Please switch off phones and cameras on Shabat and holidays.

It is a duty to perpetuate the memory of our dear loved ones and this from year to year as tradition dictates.

You can :

Make a Kaddich and recall the name of the deceased to the various offices, to do so consult the section of the services : Week or Shabat
Ask to recite a Kaddish in memory of the deceased and to recall the name of the deceased
Rent one of the rooms available to organize a "seuda" in memory of the deceased
Ask to have a plaque engraved in the memory of the deceased (the application will be studied carefully by the Administrative Commission but be aware that this request is exceptional)
Inscription of the name of the deceased on the table of the memory (the request will be studied carefully by the administrative commission according to the available place)

This page gives some excerpts of the liturgy of our Synagogue whose rite is Sephardic of the region of Constantine in Algeria.

The h'azanut or liturgy of the Constantine region is not like those of other North African countries. She is more melancholy and more subtle. It is inspired by Malouf (Arab-Andalusian music from Algeria among others). It makes us vibrate with all our being. Our duty is to share it and to perpetuate it from generation to generation, which is what our synagogue is committed to.

The Synagogue has adjoining rooms that can be rented for your religious events or to organize conferences.

Any particular situation will be considered in a benevolent manner by the secretariat. A deposit check will be required.
